Dead Centre and Potters Field were reunited this afternoon for the first time since January. The tracks aligned first time which was encouraging and electrical testing proved that the rather untidy wiring on the back of the two modules still works as well.
This is probably more good luck than a testimony to the skills of John and myself but it does mean that I now know the passing loop will be available for traffic at Donnington and Birkenhead. The other October outing for the modules, Great Haywood, has a very limited pitch so the loop will not be in use there.
Readers may have noticed that there is a new header photo on the forum, this was taken on Potters Field before I collected Dead Centre from John.
![[image]](http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j134/CheshireRailwayModellers/Modules%202/Deadcentre006.jpg) The full image is shown above, it is quite amazing how deceptive the camera can be. This close up could be on a much larger layout.
The other photos in this post were taken after the two sections of the loop were reunited.

![[image]](http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j134/CheshireRailwayModellers/Modules%202/Deadcentre010.jpg) Even the long shot could be part of something much bigger.
